Inspired by the tilework on a beautiful dome in Samarkand, this hat and cowl use stranded colourwork and two-colour cables (which can be worked without the need for a cable needle – as explained in the pattern) to weave an intricate design.
They are made using North Coast 4-ply yarn from the Border Mill, for whom I have designed a number of patterns. This yarn comes in a fabulous range of colours and knits up beautifully!
The pattern can be found on my Ravelry store here. It is also available separately from the Border Mill shop where the yarn can be purchased.
