The vertical and horizontal lines in this scarf are inspired by the geometric wall hanging designs of Anni Albers, who was famous for her work in the weaving workshop at the Bauhaus school of art. The scarf is knitted flat using slipped stitch (mosaic) technique using just one yarn at a time.
The yarn is Ullcentrum 2-ply, which is a sport-weight yarn in a lovely range of colours. It is available in Sweden from Ullcentrum and in the UK from Midwinter Yarns.
The pattern can be found in my Ravelry store here.
